This design is inspired by the scraffito patterns engraved on the buildings in the Engadine in Switzerland. This particular one, printed in a soft, verdant green, represents the eternal course of the universe, becoming and passing away.
The design is hand screen printed on 100% cotton archival paper, then side-stitched by hand in blue embroidery thread and finished with a calico binding tape. We use eco-friendly, water-based inks.
